SOLD!!

The end of September through the end of the year turned out to be a very busy time for us. In mid-September we put an offer in on a home and our offer was accepted...since we had a few rejections of offers in the past we didn't want to get our hopes up, but in early November we closed escrow on a beautiful (and old) home in San Gabriel. After doing some work on the house, like removing the asbestos/popcorn ceiling from almost every room and painting the ceilings and some rooms we moved in on November 30th. For the past two months we have been waking up in our new home and so thankful for all the space we now have. We recently sold our house on Coolidge Drive and it was a bittersweet day. We loved that house, the quite street and our neighbors, but we had grown out of it. We had always thought we would remodel/add on to it, but in the end moving to a bigger house was the right choice for us.
The Sale Pending sign finally went up when we removed our contingencies...the house was going to be ours soon.
Sometimes when I pull into the driveway of our house I still can't believe it's ours.

We are right next to the country club.
The mudroom and guest bathroom off the entry.
 Living room
Entry to the living room...we have our piano exactly where they had theirs.
Looking into the living room from the entry way.
 Sitting room
 Dining room
There are beautiful built in cabinets where I can now display my tea cups and china.

Breakfast nook that leads out to the deck.
 Kitchen
First load of dishes washed!! I love having a dishwasher!
 Deck
Laundry room off the kitchen.
We took the wallpaper off and painted it.

Terra helping...

 Back bathroom and bedroom
The previous owners used this as their master bedroom...we are using it as the playroom.
More wallpaper was taken off the walls.
Trent picked out this color...and yes it's just as bright if not brighter.
Main bathroom...it needs some work. Not a lot of counter space!
An office...and we are using this room as an office too.
Upstairs room, we are using it as our bedroom.
This bedroom has the best view of the golf course and mountains...it's now Terra's room and she loves it.
She made the adjust from the crib to a twin bed with no problem. She loves sleeping in her room and having her own space.

 Another bedroom...now Trent's room.
Proud to be an American
Trent now has a desk where he can do his homework.
Upstairs bathroom...which is used by the kids.
 Basement...eventually a Man Cave.
 Side patio
 Fish pond
Patio off the garage
A big day for the Reimers Family!
The first order of business once we got the keys to the house was taking down that awful awning off the front door. The awning made the house look like a business and now it looks like a home...our home!
Coolidge sold just last week. We made a lot of wonderful memories in that home...Coolidge Drive will always have a special place in our heart.
