Henry

Oh where to being with thoughts about Tim's beloved Grandpa Henry. From the first time I met Henry he was a character, never a dull moment with him.  He thought since he reached a certain age he could say whatever he wanted and he did. Whether it was giving us advice on what to do with our lives or just telling us a funny story, he always kept us entertained. What I loved about Henry was he was so loving, even if he happened to say something harsh. You knew he loved you and wanted you to be the best you could be. Henry always made a point of asking how my parents were doing. After my Mom passed away Henry would always ask how my Dad was and he was genuinely concerned. He didn't ask the question because it was the polite thing to do, he asked it because he cared and I loved him for it.
Henry had a rough 2015 and in the later part of the year was bedridden due to severe back pain and poor circulation in his legs. He definitely didn't like being bedridden, but I think he did like being waited on 24 hrs. a day. Sadly, Henry passed away suddenly on New Year's Eve, he had just turned 91 years old earlier in the month. The paramedics were able to revive him and take him to the hospital, but he never regained consciousness and was taken off life support two days later.
Henry was a big part of Tim's life growing up and continued to be a big part of our life. He loved Trent and was so happy when we had Terra. Before we had Terra he was always asking us when we were having another child. In his opinion, we needed to have lots of kids.
Enjoying time with family, it's what Henry liked to do best.

Christmas

This Christmas was so fun with Terra, she "got" Christmas. She was all about Santa and if she was going to be on the Nice or Naughty list. She liked our elf Alvin and enjoyed looking for him each morning. We would tell her Alvin was watching her and she should be a good girl if she wanted Santa to visit our house.
As always, we had a great Christmas Eve at Tim's parents house. Terra was in her Elsa dress (a gift from Uncle Jeff and Auntie) which lite up and played music.  She loved it! Terra has recently taken to calling herself Elsa Terra and prefers others to call her that too.
 Lots of presents for everyone!
Zinnia showing off her new legos set.
Trent liking his new chemistry set.
Oh Madison, looking pretty as usual.
What did Trent get...a cool telescope that he can use out on his deck.
Christmas morning...look at all the goodies Santa brought.
Santa and his reindeers enjoyed the snacks and wrote a nice note to the kids.
 Here my cuties come...
 Love how excited Terra is.
 Trent sees something he likes.
The Fitbit he asked for.
 Finally a SNACKEZZ!!
Terra got her dog and cat...stuffed, not real!!
Daddy putting together Doc's mobile clinic.
 Priceless...
Not sure when he grew up, but he looks so old here.
And then we have this one who didn't give me one cute smile.
Life is definitely a lot sillier with her.

Christmas Programs

Trent performed in his first Christmas program at his school. He played his cello and did a great job. He has been playing the cello for a little over a year now and is doing so well. We are so proud of him.
Terra wanted to have her own little photo shoot.
She posed herself and smiled at the camera...love it!
Pretending to be shy.
Trent is so happy when playing music. He has a real talent for music.
Terra having fun playing with Zach.
 Best buds!
 It was a long program.
Trent also plays the bells with the church group.
This time it was Terra's turn to perform.
My cuties!
A nutball for sure!
Papa with Terra and Zinnia.
Terra with her Penguin class.
She was a little slow to warm up to performing, but she eventually came around.
Love this and our spunky Terra.
