Puerto Vallarta

We were home for about 3 full days from San Francisco before we headed to Puerto Vallarta. We all were looking forward to 10 days where we could lounge in the pool or beach and really do (and eat) whatever we liked.
This was going on before we boarded the plane.  Trent's DS playing continued and thankfully Terra slept on the plane...with just one pacifier.
We arrived in PV and could not wait to get to the resort and in the pool. Oh man was it hot and humid, just like we expected.
Not a bad view from our room. We could not have been happier...oh wait maybe happier if we didn't get crabs in our room. The crabs loved to sneak in our room and use our shower. It freaked me out every time.
 Beautiful shoreline.
The resort was gorgeous and well kept.

We enjoyed 10 days of relaxing and drinking yummy drinks in the pool. Trent's favorite was the Miami Vice (half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri). He also learned about taking shots...maybe we should have been a little further from the swim up bar.

Pool time with Auntie.
Dinner was always an experience. We ate at the Japanese restaurant twice and loved it. The chef always put on a fun show.
Sometimes Zinnia and Terra left dinner a bit early and Madison, Trent and Zachary were always so good to take them out and let them run around.
 Always on the go.
 This face gets me everytime.
And then there is this...being so cute.
 What a sunset!
Vacation was off to a great start. Beautiful resort, pool, beach and now sunset. Trent was in awe.

My soon to be 10 year old.
Almost gone.
 Dinner time.
 Zinnia with her adorable pigtails.
Terra was the collector of bracelets.  She was so good at keeping them on, even though they were so big on her.
Nutty!
Just chillin'
All smiles.
Cuties in orange.
Sunset swimming.

Zach and Trent doing some body surfing.
 Going, going, almost gone.

We celebrated Cindy's birthday. Not a bad way to spend your birthday.
 Just a little humid.
Terra loved pushing Zinnia around and vice versa.
Or maybe Zinnia didn't love it so much.
The many silly faces of Trent.  Not camera shy at all.
He loves himself a good photo bomb.
Terra trying to see what Trent is watching.

Terra always wanting in on the action.
Another dinner at the Japanese restaurant.
 Holy sprinkles!
Zach getting some love from Terra while see eats her ice cream.
 Mr. Smiles and Miss Serious
Love this picture.
So pretty!
These two will get into some trouble some day.
The boys!
The grandkids.
Grandparents with their grandkids.
Granddaughters with Grandma.
Madison with her two little cousins who she takes such good care of.
Most days Terra napped poolside, which meant I got to relax a bit too.

Just a bit sweaty.
Not a bad view from the chaise lounge.
Her little itsy bitty bikini. Tim wasn't sure what to make of this. I told him it's her first bikini, but not her last.

Terra enjoyed the kids area with the water slides (the adults may or may not have went down the slides a few times too).

Some days we started off at the beach and then made our way to the pool in the afternoon.
Trent enjoyed boogie boarding.
A beautiful place to snorkel and scuba. Trent went on his first scuba dive. He had taken a class back at the resort and scubaed for 45 minutes out in the ocean. I was so nervous for him, but he did a great job.
Zach had his GoPro with him and created this video from the footage.
I was so proud of Trent.
Even though this picture is of the backs of the kids, it's one of my favorites. I love that they are holding hands and I just love that they love eachother so much. Terra adores Trent and Trent just thinks she is the best. Terra can be difficult at times, but Trent is always there to help out and try to make her laugh. I love them both so much.
We had a great vacation. Even with a 1 1/2 year old it was relaxing. The resort was amazing and we just had a great time enjoying being with our family.
