Sea World

We continued to celebrate Trent's birthday the following day (which happens to be my birthday) at Sea World. The last time Trent was at Sea World he was 2 years old. He seemed to remember bits from his first visit, which is amazing since he was only 2. As an added bonus to the day Trent brought along his friend Ashton. This was Ashton's first time to Sea World. We had a fun day ahead of us.
We arrived at Sea World around 10:30 and as soon as we walked into the park we were heading to our first destination. Our goal was to see every show, ride every ride and see every exhibit. We had quite a task ahead of us, but we are Reimers and we can do it all (no matter how tried we get).
First up was the dolphins show, which is my favorite. They changed the show around and now it's more of a cirque du soleil show and the dolphins didn't do many tricks, which is what I enjoy.
The Blue Horizons Show.
 The dolphins saying Hello!
 Some sort of flying bird.
Then we had some high divers while the bird was flying around. The dolphins weren't even in the show at this point.
 There the dolphins are.
 Riding on the dolphins.
 There the dolphins are...FINALLY!
The Finale!
From the dolphins show we went to see and feed the sea lions.
Trent and his buddy Ashton.
 Feeding the sea lions.
This sea lion wanted some fish.
The next show we saw was the Sea Lions Live Comedy Show.
Clyde and Seamore the Sea Lions perform.
Clyde performing a cool trick. Can he carry the ball up and over the poll?
 Dancing.
From the Sea Lions show we made our way over to the new Manta Ray roller coaster ride. Trent and Ashton were so excited to go on the roller coaster.  The ride did not disappoint, they had a great time.
Flamingos and the Manta Ray ride in the distance.
After the ride, the boys had fun petting the manta rays.
A shark passing by. Trent was disappointed that the shark would not come closer, not that I think he would try and pet it.
We had a quick lunch and then went to see the One Ocean Shamu show.
The trainers no longer get into the water with the killer whales, which is understandable, but the show isn't as entertaining as it used to be.
The height these killer whales get in the air is just amazing considering how big they are.
Trent and Ashton sat in the splash zone and were disappointed that they didn't get that wet.
 So cute!
 WOW!
They were waving good-bye to the crowd.
Since the boys didn't get wet at the Shamu show they went on the Shipwreck Rapids ride to get wet and cool off.
 Getting wet!
The boys were soaked and happy about it.
 Ashton checking out the starfish.
 Trent having a great time.
We tried to pet the dolphins. Ashton was able to pet the dolphin, but Trent just couldn't reach his hand out far enough.
 A cool looking owl.
Nutballs eating popcorn during the Pet Show.
 YUMMY!
They have a very wide range of animals participating in the show.
The dog riding across the pool in a boat.
The pig doing the obstacle course, which was very funny.
A black cat walking the tight rope.
 They even had kangaroos...crazy!
From the pet show we went to see the new turtle reef exhibit.
 Aston and Trent
While the boys went on the Journey of Atlantis ride, I got seats for the night Sea Lions show where they make fun of the other Sea World shows.  It is such a funny show.
This guy was hilarious. He was the before show entertainment.
They were making fun of the Shamu show.
And the Pet Show.
Trent and Ashton enjoying the show.
Then they made fun of the Dolphins show, which I think was the funniest.
 The high diver.
They even had the strange bird from the dolphins show.
Trent and Ashton having a great time dancing to the music.
Last up was the night Shamu Rocks show. The boys were going to sit in the splash zone and this time they hoped to get nice and wet.
These two loved dancing to the music.
 Shamu Rocks!
The boys got very wet at this show and they were so happy.
The big splash is coming...
It was an awesome show to end a great day!
The last pictures of the day.
The boys took their wet shirts off after the Shamu show and, of course, wouldn't put them back on...boys!
We had a great day celebrating Trent's 8th birthday.
