Terra is 5 months old!

I know I sound like a broken record, but seriously I can't believe Terra is already 5 months old. Can't I just freeze this stage. She is becoming quite the cutie. I love her smile and it brightens up my day. She is pretty chill, but definitely lets you know when she is hungry or tired.
Terra is now eating rice cereal and applesauce, which she seems to enjoy. She knew exactly what to do when the spoon came towards her mouth. She opened wide and took all the rice cereal she could...definitely like her mama.
Terra's first few bites.
All smiles eating rice cereal.
Taking a nap.
Springtime means capris.
Dressed in her best for church.
A cute picture of Terra and Daddy on her 5 month birthday.
On Tuesday, Terra's first tooth came through on the bottom and today her second one broke the surface next to the first. She wasn't too fussy leading up to her first tooth, just lots of drool and she puts everything in her mouth. The past few days she has been a bit fussy and now I know why...her second tooth needed to break through. I am not ready for her to have teeth, but her smile is going to look so cute.

Swim Meet

Trent recently moved up to the Pre-Team group. This group will prepare him for the competitive group that competes with other swim teams. He was so excited to move to the Pre-Team group and worked so hard in the last year to get to this point.
Moving into the Pre-Team group means competing in Intrasquad meets. At these meets your events are timed and you swim against other Pre-Team and Bronze group swimmers. The Bronze group is where Trent will move next. Trent was a bit nervous about the meet and was definitely not thrilled about it being long course, but I think after his first event the nerves went away and he had a great time.
All the kids wrote their event number, heat and lane assignments on their hand. A sign of a real swimmer.
 Talking with his friends.
 Thumbs up!
 Getting ready to race.
50 meter breaststroke. Trent went without his goggles for this event.
He did a good job.
 His time was 1:16.37.
 50 meter Backstroke.
Trent doesn't really like backstroke, but it is his best stroke.
He has great form.
Trent liking the time his sees on the scoreboard...1:02.00.
He placed 2nd in his heat.
 50 meter Freestyle.
Trent's time was 1:00.94.
Trent did a great job in his first Intrasquad meet. I can't wait to see how he does at his next one. We are so proud of him and how far his come with his strokes and endurance in a year.

Easter

Trent was excited as ever to see what the Easter Bunny brought him and Terra. I wish I could keep him young forever.
 Goodies for my sweeties.
Trent excited about getting another Skylander...Eye Brawl.
 Terra and her treats.
Terra laughing at Trent. She loves her big brother.
Love Terra's face...Yes, I know he is a bit nutty.
All pretty in her Easter dress.
 My loves!
 Bunny ears for Terra.
 Auntie Ashley and Terra.
Getting ready for the Easter egg hunt.
 Trent being a clown.
Trent and Jake getting as many eggs as they could.
 Tim with his niece Zinnia.
 Jeff with Terra.
Scott with Terra and Great Grandma Ethel with her newest great granddaughter.
Zinnia Jean born on March 26, 2013.
 Great Grandparents with Zinnia...precious.
Another egg hunt at Grandma and Papa's house.
Only in California can you hunt eggs in bathing suits.
Ethel making sure everyone is behaving.
Another Reimers' tradition...an Easter Bunny Pinata.
We had a nice day.  The only bummer was on the way home from church my car got hit by an uninsured and unlicensed driver...again only in California. Good thing I follow the law and have insurance.
