Our Adventures in France...Day 3

On Day 3 we headed about 30 minutes out of Paris by train to Disneyland Paris. Trent was so excited to be going to Disneyland in France. If you ask him what was his favorite thing to do in France he will say going to Disneyland.
We had a bit of a delay in the subway station...again with the lack of public bathrooms. Tim and I had to venture out of the subway station to find a bathroom for me and then getting back into the subway station wasn't easy. Our ticket back into the station didn't work, we then tried to buy another ticket and our credit card wouldn't work because it doesn't have a euro chip in it. Of course, the information desk was closed, but a worker who had been watching our situation unfold and wasn't bothering to help us finally did after Tim convinced him that we only went out of the station to find a bathroom.  So, we were about an hour behind from where we wanted to be, but finally got on the train and to Disneyland.
Scott and Fiona trying not to get too close to the homeless man sleeping on the bench.
Trent passes the time on the train by playing his DS.
Disneyland Paris entrance. Let the fun begin.
Disneyland Hotel.  You walk through the hotel to get to the park.
Disneyland Paris was celebrating their 20th Anniversary.
Main Street with the castle in the distance.
The castle is much bigger than the one in Anaheim.
Discoveryland. Most of the group went on Space Mountain, which they say was better than the one in Anaheim.
 Autopia
John and Madison
 Buzz Lightyear ride.
Not too sure about these two.
 Star Tours.
 Pirates!
Trent excited to go on Pirates of the Caribbean
Trent had fun running around the island.
The Phantom Menace, similar to the Haunted Mansion in Anaheim.
Big Thunder Mountain. The wait time was 2 hours, so we didn't get a chance to go on the ride.
Cindy took this great picture of the castle.
Reimers!
After many hours at the Disneyland Park we went over to the Walt Disney Studios Park. We were disappointed to find out we had only two hours in the park until closing. We all split up and went on as many rides as we could in the two hours we had.
This is the entrance to the park.  There were lots of restaurants and shops.
Madison and Trent
I opted to find a park bench and take a nap.  I was exhausted from the day.
Trent wanted to explore Toy Story Playland.
John and Cindy going on the Slinky Dog ride.
Trent said this ride was his favorite.
 A cool Army Parachute ride.
 Up, Up and Away!

I guess Tim needed a little lift to the hotel.
We had a great day at Disneyland Paris. The parks are very similar to Anaheim, except for the very pushy French people. In almost each line we stood in a group of French people would push their way in front of us and sometimes in front of other people too.  That is one thing that would never happen in Anaheim.
