In our younger years, we swam together day after day for many years and we came together a few Saturdays ago to support our long time friend and teammate Jeff Julian who was diagnosed in January with Stage 4 lung cancer (never a smoker). We had a Industry Hills Aquatics Club reunion at the Rose Bowl where Jeff is the head coach at. We had t-shirts made showing our IHAC love and #TeamJeff support. To start off the fun we got into the pool and did a set...oh so fun...not! I haven't swam a set in oh 20 years...good times. Trent got in with us too and led our lane, he had a great time.

After swimming we had a nice lunch and got to hang out more with our longtime friends. It was good to catch with friends and to see everyones kids...there were so many of them running around playing, so fun!
On Saturday, we had the IHAC reunion and on Sunday Trent participated in a swim clinic put together by Olympian Jason Lezak to support Jeff. Jason Lezak brought along other Olympians Rebecca Soni, Ariana Kukors, Haley Anderson, Jessica Hardy, Kim Vanderberg, Lenny Krazelberg and John Naber to coach 150 swimmers.

Q&A with the Olympians
After the swimmers had a 3 hour clinic with the Olympians the parents were invited to a Q&A, live auction and dinner. It was such a great event and it raised a good amount of money for Jeff and his family.
Jason Lezak was nice enough to autograph and take a picture with the swimmers. Such a great experience.
