Seattle...Day Three

We started the day with another good breakfast and then headed out in the Seattle drizzly. Our plan for the day was to walk down to Pike's Market, take a ferry across to Bainbridge Island, go on the Giant Ferris Wheel and then whatever else we had time to do.
Terra ready for the drizzle.
 A damp morning.
Staying out of the rain while we wait for the light to turn green.
 Pike's Market.
We got to see them throw the fish, but didn't get a picture of it.
Trent was so sad to see that someone lost their doggy. Trent has this same doggy and knows how special it is to him. Trent talked about the lost dog for awhile and all the different scenarios of how it got lost and hopefully found.
Fresh veggies.
 It was crowded.
 Fresh flowers.
 The first Starbucks!
We didn't get a cup of coffee because the line was at least 50-75 people long...oh well.
 A glimpse inside.
 Walking to the ferry.
 The Giant Ferris Wheel.
 The Fire Dept. rescue boats.
Terra looking forward to going on the ferry or happy that she just ate.
 Leaving the Seattle drizzle behind.
 Relaxing on the ferry.
It was a bit chilly on the deck.
 Bainbridge Island.
The ferry ride over to Bainbridge Island was about 45 minutes. We walked into town and found a nice sandwich shop to eat at for lunch and then a bakery for cookies. Of course, I found a place to shop for baby clothes. There wasn't much more to see in the town, so we headed back over to Seattle.
 Trent the paparazzi.
Terra just chillin' while I shopped.
A little snake in the flowers on our walk back to the ferry.
 My nutty boy Trent.
Trent trying to fit on my lap.
The sun finally came out on the island just as we were leaving.
While we waited for the ferry to board Tim took some cute pictures of Terra.
 Love that face!
 Beautiful!
 Seattle
After the ferry we walked along the boardwalk to the Giant Ferris Wheel. Tim and Trent were the brave ones...and lucky ones. They got to the front of the 45 minute line because they were looking for groups of two.
 Cutie pie with freckles.
One of my favorite pictures of my boys!
After the ferris wheel we walked to dinner at The Pike Brewing Company. It was a causal place with pretty good food, just what we needed.  Tim had the beer sampler and of course enjoyed that.
Tim, Trent and Terra made the uphill walk back to the hotel, while my Dad and I got a cab back.  Tim got Trent a little something to give him a sugar rush, so he could make it back to the hotel. It worked and they made it. They dropped Terra off with me and then went in search for the first REI. They found it, but it was closing, so they didn't get to stay long.
We ended another great day in Seattle with backing up for the trip home the next morning.  Off to bed early because it was going to be an early morning.
