Tour of California finishes in Pasadena

A few years ago we followed the Tour of California, which started up in Auburn and then traveled down the coast. That was a great week. In years since then we have seen a stage here and there. And then there was this time in 2012 when Tim and Trent saw the finishing stage of the Tour de France...not too shabby. Well, this year there was a stage ending in Pasadena and at the last minute we decided to go. We took the gold line a few stops to Holly Avenue, walked around the festival for a bit and then saw the end of the stage. The cyclist came by us 4 times and it was so exciting. We missed cheering for Dave Zabriskie, but we had Peter Sagan to cheer for and he won the stage.
Hanging out in the backpack waiting for the gold line.
Cutie!
Chillin' on the gold line.
Looking towards the finishing line.
We got a great spot in the shade to watch the race.
Here they come.
Another cutie.
Peter Sagan the second cyclist with Bradley Wiggins behind him.
The cherry to top off the day...Mark Cavendish signing autographs.
Tim got his hat signed, so cool!
