Costume Party

On Saturday, we celebrated Ashley's 30th birthday and John and Justin's 18th birthday with a Halloween costume party. Ashley did a great job with all the cool Halloween decorations and everyone was a good sport about coming in a costume.
Tim dressed up as Hannibal from A-Team. Trent loved Tim dressing up as Hannibal since he is Trent's favorite character. Trent is loving watching the old episodes of A-Team on Netflix with Tim. I dressed up as a nice witch...Tim made a joke about me really not having to dress up as a witch...ha ha Tim! Trent went as Jango Fett from Star Wars, no surprise there.  And Terra went as a cute little tiger. Trent picked out her costume and it sure is a cute one.

And She's Off...

Terra and I did some shopping yesterday and came home with a walker. Since she is really cruising around these days, I figured she would love to push the walker around. She loves it. So, I am sure too fast for my liking she will be walking on her own.

Terra...11 months

Another month down and one more to go to the big "1." Terra is officially cruising around tables, chairs, just about anything she can pull herself up to and walk around. In the past few days, she has been standing on her own for a good amount of time. She has been testing out standing and drinking from her sippy cup, she is doing pretty good on her legs. My bet is she will be walking by her birthday.
She is still a good eater, but one day she will like pasta and the next day just has a few bites and then is done with it. She loves playing the game of throwing the food on the ground, it's so fun...not!
Terra has started playing a little more independently and able to entertain herself for longer periods of time. She still prefers Trent's toys to her toys. She loves exploring in the sunroom and getting into whatever she shouldn't get into. Everything still goes into to her mouth and she chomps away. Board books are her favorite to chew on. Trent rarely ripped his books, Terra on the other hand loves ripping just about anything. Give her an old magazine and it's destroyed immediately and she has torn off a piece of paper with her mouth. So, she can only look at board books for now until she gets out of this phase or all the books will be ruined. We have nicknamed her Terra the Tornado. She keeps me on my toes that's for sure.
Terra is a talker...I wonder where she gets that from. Just the other day we were out to lunch and she was talking away. My friend turned to me and said she is loud. I said really, this is her normal volume...she has to be loud to compete with Trent.
 Eating Mac n' Cheese
Terra loves carrying things around in her mouth...so funny.
 I love the jeggings...so cute!
In her brother's toys.
Another thing in her mouth, this time is a flashing button.
A quick shot of Terra at our photo shoot with Carie.
 Two sour puss looks...

 Love the hair.
There's a little bit of a smile.

Bowling

On Saturday, I took Trent and his cousin Jake bowling. We started the adventure with lunch at Islands and then headed across the way to bowl a few games. Terra and I enjoyed watching Trent and Jake bowl. They are very entertaining, so even though Terra was strapped into her stroller, she was content watching the show in front of her.
The quality of the pictures isn't great because it was so dark in the bowling alley, but you will get the idea of how nutty these two are.
 Trent telling Jake his business...
 Love these two!
Jake watching the ball knock down some pins.
Jake doing the moon walk...like I said nutty.
 Trent showing off his moves.
After bowling we came home and the boys continued their lego battle. I wish I would have taken a picture of what the playroom looked like during their battle. There were so many legos on the floor, on shelves and just all over the place.

BRACES!!

Trent got braces on his top row of teeth on Wednesday morning. Tim took him to his 7:00 a.m. appointment, which was so early. The procedure only took about an hour and everything went well. Tim got a kick out of listening to Trent tell the dentist what to do and how to do things. Trent is quite the talker...I wonder where he gets it from.
 Look at those braces.
Trent came home before going to school, so I could see his braces. He looked so cute, but so grown up, which of course I am not ready for. He went to school and wasn't in too much pain. The next morning was a different story. He woke up crying because he was in so much pain. He was able to eat breakfast, then I gave him so motrin and sent him to school. I thought about keeping him home, but knew once he got to school he would be ok and he was. I picked him up and he was all smiles. I love his new smile!
