Fun in September

In the early morning of September 2, 2015 Pippa Juliet was born. Scott, Fiona and Zinnia are now a family of four. We were so excited to meet and hold Pippa. Trent was so happy to hold Pippa and really didn't want to let others hold her.
Having fun at Tanner's Day. Terra loved playing in the playground.
Run Wild, Run Free...Terra's motto.
We went to see Madison play volleyball at a tournament in Torrance. It was so fun to watch #18.
Go Madison!!

Madison took these fun pictures of Terra.
CHEESE!
My favorite girl and one of my favorite pictures of Terra.

Scuba

Trent opted out of doing any summer school classes this summer, so Tim thought it would be good for him to get some academics in, in a different way and get certified in scuba diving. He got a bit of a late start on taking the classes, but it all worked out and Trent is now certified to go scuba diving.
Trent getting his gear in the right spot.
Their first scuba diving trip was out at Catalina Island. They boarded the boat around 9:00 p.m., left the dock around 3:00 a.m. and got to the spot a few hours later. It was quite the experience sleeping on the boat.
Of course doggy came along on the trip.
 Beautiful sunrise.
Trent all smiles after he threw up. His body was all out of sorts after sleeping on the boat...he was a lot less green after throwing up.
Love the dolphins!
These two pictures are my favorite. I love how big his smile is, he is so happy!
These pictures were taken by Thomas, Trent's instructor. Their first dive was a skin dive, which was Trent's least favorite.
They dove two more times and Trent did great!
Tim having just as much fun as Trent.
Trent overcame his fear of kelp. They had to swim through kelp beds and if Trent wanted to continue diving, he had to learn to push that kelp out of his way and keep on going. So proud of him.
Tim and Trent's second scuba diving trip was just a day trip off the Channel Islands (off the coast of Oxnard).
Excited to get in the water.
 Breathtaking views.
 Trent and his instructor Thomas
The Explorer was their boat for the day.
 Ready to dive!
So happy for Trent and so happy that Tim has a buddy to go scuba diving with. They are going to go on many great adventures.

Last days of Summer

We packed lots of fun things in before school started.
Trent went to his first Sunday School Camp and had a great time. The camp usually falls on Trent's birthday weekend, so he hasn't been able to go, but this year the timing worked out perfectly. Tim and Trent headed up on a Friday evening and spent the weekend outdoors doing fun activities with friends.

Tim taking a little time out to relax.
We got in one more beach day before school started. It was a beautiful day at the beach.
Terra and I having fun at Kidspace.
Having a sweet treat from Coldstone.
Playing dress-up.
Tim came across this motorized quad through his cycling group...best thing was it was free!! Terra loves it!
See ya!
Terra's hair is finally growing. We can even get it in a ponytail.
Cruising around the neighborhood on their scooters.
I had a fun 2 1/2 months with these two. This summer we did much more than we did last summer. Terra is now so much "easier" to take places...being potty trained, we don't have to be on too tight of a schedule and she can kind of go with the flow. So, I really made a point of doing all we could and I hope Trent and Terra had as much fun as I did. Trent's main goal of the summer was to chill and I am pretty sure he accomplished that almost every day!
