Time is definitely going by too fast if Terra is already 2. She is a very independent little girl and likes things her way or the highway. She is getting better at reasoning with, but she definitely lets you know how she feels about a situation she is not happy with. Every day her vocabulary is growing and Trent is always testing (I mean teaching) her with new words. She has yet to comply with his request to say car and says truck instead, which I think is hilarious. Trent is convinced that she is never going to say car and that it will hurt her in school not saying the proper word for things. Oh that boy!
Terra had her 2 year old check up with her doctor and she is doing great. She weighs 29 lbs 9 oz and she is 34 3/4" tall, which lands her in the 80% tile. We went cold turkey with the pacifier about a month ago and she is just fine without it. It was a tough time at naptime and in the car without it, but she worked through it and I am glad it's gone. Next up is potty training, ugh!
We were up bright and early on Tim and Terra's birthday. Trent had to be at school at 7am for a field trip. Terra got a scooter, which she loves and now leaves Trent's alone...for the most part.
Big brother is always there to show her how to do it.
