What a great Mother's Day I had. I got to open my Mother's Day gift a few days early and was pleased to get a Kindle Fire. I was hesitant to make the jump to the Kindle Fire because I love my old Kindle, but wow I instantly fell in love with the Fire. It is so much faster, which is what my old Kindle was lacking.
On Mother's Day morning, Tim got up early and got donuts, which is always a nice treat. We went to church and then the plan was to head to Disneyland for the day. We got down to Disneyland around 1:30 and we planned to stay until 8:00. Trent was so excited that we were going to Disneyland. He and I had just gone last month, but no matter how often we go he is always excited.

We made our way into Disneyland and headed directly to Star Tours. Tim hadn't been on Star Tours in about 10 years, so Trent was excited to show him the new Star Tours. After they went on Star Tours Trent saw a Storm Trooper.

Trent was so happy to see the Storm Trooper and told Tim and I that he was ready to fight him...so silly.
We made our way to the other side of the park and went over to the island. Tim and Trent had fun exploring the island. Trent has to be the leader and he has to go in all the caves.

After the island, we went on the Winnie the Pooh ride, which is still a favorite of Trent's. Then Tim and Trent went canoeing around the island.
After canoeing, we went to the Haunted Mansion, Tim and Trent went on Big Thunder Mountain and then we headed over to CA Adventure in hopes to go on Soarin' over California. Unfortunately, the ride was down, so we went on the non-swinging gondola ferris wheel.Tim had never been on the ferris wheel, so it was fun to go on that with him.
After the ferris wheel we took Tim on the Little Mermaid ride, another ride he hadn't been on. Then we headed back over to Disneyland and Tim and Trent went on Star Tours again. After Star Tours we headed home and were home by 9:00 p.m. Boy were we tired and it was hard to get up Monday morning.
